Mission
Our mission is to work together to build a safe, respectful and nurturing homeschool community focused on maximizing each child’s sense of well-being and acquisition of skills for life and learning.
Vision
- To prepare all students to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens ready to meet the challenges of the future. In partnership with families and community, our goal is to create relevant learning opportunities for students — both inside and outside the classroom.

About Our Classes
Firefly Homeschool Community (FHC) is a non-profit, secular learning community for homeschoolers, located in Athens, GA.
We meet twice weekly: Tuesdays for academic centered classes and Thursdays for enrichment centered classes. Students in grades K-12 are welcome to take classes on one or both days.
Registration is OPEN for the 2024/2025 school year and will close on July 1, 2024.
