Molly Azami To All Instructors

Molly is a geospatial scientist with a background in physical geography and computer science education. She has taught at the university level and has many years of experience working with computers, programming, and software development in the private sector, including roles at Jackson EMC and Schneider Electric. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Geography with a focus on Geospatial Science, and her research includes the study of human-environment interactions and real-world data.

Molly operates a small LLC where she tutors students in Python, AP Computer Science, web development, and other technology-related skills. She enjoys helping students make sense of complex ideas and believes that understanding can be shown through writing, conversation, projects, or creative work. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Molly has lived in Athens since 1991, where she raised her son and homeschooled him through middle and high school. Molly values the collaborative, student-centered spirit of homeschool education.
