Firefly's Tuition Assistance Program is available to eligible families who need help covering the cost of classes.

Assistance is awarded based on several criteria, including each family's description of their tuition assistance needs. There are no income verification requirements or formal financial disclosures — we simply ask that families share relevant information honestly and accurately so that assistance can reach those who need it most.

Awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot exceed 40% of an applicant's total Firefly tuition. Because available funds and the number of applicants change each year, we are unable to guarantee a specific award amount or that every applicant will receive assistance. That said, we are proud that last year 67% of applicants received at least half of what they requested, and 30% received the full amount they asked for. Award amounts are also influenced by what each applicant requests, so we encourage families to be thoughtful and accurate when describing their need.

We work hard every cycle to support as many families as possible, and we encourage anyone who needs assistance to apply. In conjunction with our March/April registration dates, families may apply for tuition assistance for the 2026-2027 school year. 

Families will be notified by email if they have been awarded tuition assistance after the 2026-2027 budget has been approved by the board of directors in May 2026.
