Ella was born overseas in the Netherlands, where she spent her early childhood before moving to Adelaide, South Australia. She lived in Adelaide until her teenage years when she moved to Athens, Georgia. 

Ella returned to Australia to attend university in Sydney before settling back in Georgia to work and start her family. 

Ella has been homeschooling since her kids became school-aged; she is grateful for the freedom to learn and explore alongside them, and for the closeness homeschooling gives her family. 

Having grown up heavily immersed in the art world, nothing brings her greater joy than teaching art, and watching how every subject kids learn inspires them in such incredible and unique ways! 

She enjoys needlework, sewing, gardening, hiking, and adventuring with her husband and kids.
