Todd Lawrence To All Instructors

Born in Louisiana and raised in Dublin, Ga, Todd Lawrence has called the Athens area home since 1994. A graduate of UGA with a degree in English, Todd discovered a love for teaching after an internship at Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary School.  Now with several years of online teaching experience, coupled with countless hours spent as a Lay Park after school program volunteer, Todd is excited to bring his knowledge and passion for learning to Firefly. Todd’s varied background includes 20 years in the cleaning industry, time as an owner/operator of a comic book store, and three terms as the president of the Athens Dart Association. An avid reader of topics including local history and politics, Todd most enjoys time spent with his wife, Summer, and daughters, Marion and Kathryn. As a proponent of home school and its freedom to allow for creativity and individual uniqueness, Todd is thrilled to be a member of the Firefly community.
