Emily Hale To All Instructors

Teacher

Emily lives on the outskirts of Athens, in a beautiful forest with trails leading to the Oconee River. She is a wife, a mother to two children, and the caretaker of many animals.

Emily came to Athens to study Early Childhood Education at UGA, before switching gears to earn a degree in Spanish. Since then, she's held positions in childcare, various school settings, and worked as a doula. She's also enjoyed quite a bit of traveling. She has been really thoroughly blessed to immerse herself for the past 15 years in motherhood, home-making, and home-schooling.

When she's not at Firefly enjoying the vibrant community and amazing kiddos, Emily loves to spend her time at home, tending the land and animals, exploring the woods, or relaxing on the banks of the river, enjoying life with her husband, their children, and whoever else shows up.
